Being an active and passionate pianist, Min Duh performs frequently and was well-received. She started to play the Piano at the age of four and decided to establish herself as a pianist since then. Performed in a variety of locations all around the world, she devoted herself to promoting classical music with her musicianship.

 

Min’s performance has been recognized in several competitions and auditions, major awards include the second prize in the “Asian Youth Music Competition” in 2007, Singapore, the second prize in the “International Young Pianist Competition” class of Beethoven Sonata in 2018, Japan, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Piano Prize in 2022, England and Weingarten Memorial Trust scholarship in 2022, England.

 

As a pianist, Min performed in recitals locations such as Forum Music Auditorium, Hsinchu Performing Arts Center and Cement Hall in Taiwan, Mozart Haus in Austria a. She collaborated with Kuang- Jen Catholic High School Orchestra, National Taiwan Normal University Wind Orchestra, and China Youth Corps Wind Orchestra as a soloist. She also performed in Chamber music frequently, highlight event includes Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Chamber Music Festival.

 

Born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, Min participated in the Music Program Class of Kuang- Jen Catholic School in Taiwan since the age of nine and was awarded several scholarships from the school until she attends the university. She completed her Bachelor's degree at National Taiwan Normal University, studying with Yu- Chiou Tchen. In 2022, she graduated from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Master of Music degree with distinction, under Robert Markham and David Quigley. She is currently studying for the Advanced Postgraduate Diploma with a scholarship, under Robert Markham, David Quigley, John Thwaites, and Di Xiao.

 

Additional studies have included the Mozarteum International Summer Academy in

Salzburg, master classes of Professor Peter Lang in Vienna, “Talent Music Summer

Courses& Festival “in Italy twice, Cadenza Summer School in England.

 

Apart from music, she also enjoys outdoor activities, especially mountain climbing with her brother.
